In the past, I've generally received my items within a couple of weeks. I check my bank to see when check was cashed and generally receive notification last than a week later that the item is being shipped. I think they use FedEx Ground with tracking.

sb1 04-27-2015 05:20 PM

They will send tracking, and yes they use Fed EX.

I received a Fed Ex tracking number today for tomorrow's delivery. No one is faster than REA in shipping or customer service.

what did you win??

Joe_G. 04-27-2015 09:58 PM

Jay, I love the Goldsmith signed card w/ amazing story that covers his significant contribution to the game. Very nice.

Lots of great items. I managed to win lot 45, collection of five items for which I was only interested in the Syracuse Herald News Boy cabinet.

atx840 04-27-2015 10:59 PM

So many great items, its like Christmas in here.

If whoever won the T210-4 Virginia Valley League lot doesn't happen to need the Carter, Davis, O'Connor, or Spicer cards - please pm me. Thanks.

oldjudge 04-28-2015 01:31 PM

I got my winnings today--lightning fast shipping! Thanks guys!

Howe’s Hunter 04-28-2015 01:38 PM

If the winner of lot 232 happens to be a board member, and they aren't that interested in the cards with the numbers 48, 51 and 349 written on the back in pencil, I would be interested in those cards. There may be something else on the back also, but I'm O.K. with that.

Jay Wolt 04-28-2015 01:45 PM

Those Stooges pieces are cool
Was watching the Stooges movie posters, lobby cards & Fleer cards get constant bids
Seems like a healthy market

Congrats Brian and Scott on the T210 lots. Be sure to eye ball those series on the back... You never know... May be a wrong back stuck in there!

Anyone win the Series 8 lots ? Would love to help you pay for it by purchasing several cards. :D

I echo your sentiment. Any well managed, properly staffed operation should be able to ship packages within 1 business day of payment. I haven't received my tracking # yet, but sent payment this morning.

Prince Hal 04-29-2015 07:17 AM

If anyone on the board won Lot #159 and would like to sell the Austin, please let me know!

Great image Scott. I bet that pitcher was pretty hard to hit from that distance.

Runscott 04-29-2015 12:06 PM

I bet these guys also had a tough time finding a catcher. Probably had to get a new one every couple of pitches.

Depending on what his follow-through looked like, I imagine he wasn't that hard to hit it all. With the bat, that is.

sb1 04-29-2015 01:15 PM

And FedEx has arrived!

gnaz01 04-29-2015 07:27 PM

Winnings

REA winnings in hand and would have been sooner if I had been home yesterday when FEDEX arrived.
Incredible customer service just like Sterling Auctions.
REA even covered the FedEx at no charge!

Thanks!

REA has always given exceptional service. I struck out this year but they have always shipped immediately in past years.

I think it is because some of us are afraid of being teased for paying too much :) What the heck, here is my newest Matty. Always wanted a Carolina Brights back.

Sean 05-04-2015 11:28 AM

Luke, I've always heard that when it comes to high value cards, "you can never pay too much, you can only pay it too soon." Meaning that you may have overpaid for that card today, but it will increase in value. The good cards like that one always do, and will soon be worth more than you paid for it.

I use that theory to justify my purchases, and even if it doesn't always work, it does always make me feel better. :D

And that's a great Matty.

LKeeler 05-04-2015 02:02 PM

Thanks, Sean. Good words to live by! :D

Howe’s Hunter 05-04-2015 03:38 PM

What does the other side say, since it says "over" in the lower left hand corner

:eek::eek:

I wanted to know who ended up with this beauty! Major congrats on such an awesome card.

I wanted to add to my horde. I actually have two of the amazing Type 2 Gehrigs but in low grade. There just aren't many of those, and as others have commented, yours is terrific!

I would have struggled to get momma to agree to a third and the associated cost of it...I guess she is probably right.

BUT once again, this is a great pickup! Congrats !!

I got one pink peanut. Seriously!! Thousands of white peanuts and one pink one. Who does this? I think someone at REA is F-in' with me.

PS: The group of signed baseballs that came with this is awesome.

Another monster card Pete!!! What I find most interesting about your pickups this month is that the Violet Murray is more scarce than both of your bigger acquisitions!!
