Sure, Joe. Bought the cabinet from Bryan Dec in Philly, very professional seller and great customer service as well.

Always happy to add another Gibson to my collection.
This one came from the most recent Collectible Classics auction. This was my first time bidding with them, and I have to say that I was quite happy with their customer service, their speed of shipping and how well protected everything was in the package. Regards, Richard. <img border="0" width="500" src="http://www.collectorfocus.com/images/show/georgegibson/baseball-cards/14354/1909-13-m101-2-sporting-news-supplements" /> |

Besides the obvious mislabeling by PSA, I'm quite pleased to have picked up this blank-backed missing color E92/E101

Picked up this Standard Biscuit Company card of Chief Meyers to add to my Chief Meyers collection. I believe the ACC designation should be D350-2 on this one. Compliments of Champs and Bums recent auction.

Nice month for me so far. I added 11 m114s to my collection, putting me at 847 m113s and m114s, but my favorite new item is this $10 ebay purchase, an April 1912 Police Gazette centerfold of a play at the plate (23 X 16) :

I liked Collins and George. But I found sliding poses and don't need double players... I also have an extra Fred Mann not listed... Most of my doubles are common; and I've been 'low key' trying to get rid of then for a while now. I'm beginning to think they'll be loitering in my binder for quite some time. :) I can't quit I'm compleatly psychology addicted, and I don't plan on seeking help. :) |
Got in a few packages today. I will be holding off for a few weeks maybe until after the holidays until more purchasing comes in. Thanks for looking guys

VERY excited to have won this last night in the Huggins and Scott auction. A K Bat has been on my want list for a very long time. Now if I could only pick up an N173:

I can call you Betty, and Betty when you call me, you can call me Al
Just received this in the mail yesterday.
http://imageshack.us/a/img716/5903/jwek.png I'd mentioned on the 2014 collecting goals topic that this Al Simmons card was one of the ones I'd hoped to acquire. Well, I just received this in the mail yesterday afternoon because of the kindness of one of our forum members. Thank you, Kenny, for your incredible generosity. :) I won't be buying anything more until the end of January, but I got the last card I purchased in the mail today. It's not a prewar card, but it's part of the Roberto Clemente master set I'm working on. It's a real beauty! I'll be posting it on the post war pickup thread. |

Great cards and happy holidays to all.
I still love looking at that e102 Cobb!!! Heres mine, no idea why it graded this way, crease free with a clean back...poorly cut caster though. |

On those Kashins--I got a "3" for Gehrig this year that I was sure was a 4 or 5--sent it to SGC and they pointed to a VERY light crease--on the back! Still seemed worthy of a 4. So maybe you need to get out those microscopes...

Philpot Studio Postcard 1915 Sanford, ME
1 Attachment(s)
This postcard arrived today featuring the 1915 Sanford, Maine Team, the 1915 Champions of Maine and New Hampshire. Anyone guess who the famous ballplayer is in the front row left wearing the nice sweater? His hometown was Sanford, Maine which is about 30 minutes west of where I live.

Another Hap Hogan 1911 Obak
2 Attachment(s)
Picked this one up on my big night on ebay a few days ago. It was already a favorite pose of mine and when I noticed the difference between it and my original copy I decided to grab it as well. The Obak sets are full of unusual oddities.
