UPDATE:

Thanks guys for all of the prayers and support. Let me first start by saying that I am overwhelmed by the support and friendships I have here. I am even more amazed of the strength of my little girl. We removed life support yesterday and I am glad to say that she is doing amazingly well and nothing short of a miracle. Every team of Dr.s we have seen even say they have been changed by her strength and story. I will hopefully get time to tell the full story here sometime soon, but I am so thankful of the support from this community. The road will be a bit different but good. She is sitting up talking and fully intact mentally! Way different than what we were told Thursday night. One of Mykal's friends did post a FB page called prayers or praying for Mykal. You can find detail and updates there so go like the page! We will come out of this thing stronger.

Jason, I'm sorry that I am just now posting, as I haven't seen this thread until today. But I am thrilled to hear that your daughter is improving after such a terrifying ordeal. I will say a prayer for her, and your entire family. Let's hope that she continues growing stronger, and many years from now, she will look back at this moment, and draw strength knowing what she was able to overcome. God bless!

Thanks guys! The prayers are working. I have seen so far 6 different Dr.s shed tears over her miraculous recovery. Long road ahead and alot of changing but I am privileged to have another opportunity to be here Dad. She was sitting up playing a guitar yesterday! Sunday we didn't even know if she was going to wake up!

Jason just texted me a video of her playing her guitar!!!! Amazing. She was one day removed from ICU and had an IV in her hand. Way to go, Mykal!

I've been following this thread whenever I log on. Very uplifting to see Mykal recovering so completely and quickly. One of only a couple threads my wife has ever taken an interest in, touching story for sure. Congratulations!

Jason, she will remain in my prayers and please keep us updated on her progress. My cousin was just released from ICU after three weeks and I know how stressful this can be.

Mykal had some tests today and an MRI tomorrow. She will have some type of surgery on Wednesday. Hopefully just the ICD and be done pending no structural issues. Please keel us in prayers. Hopefully go home Friday if it is simple. I will be posting part of my collection on here soon to cover some expenses. Keep an eye out on BST if you would in the coming weeks. Thanks for the support. It is nice to see fellow members in the hobby show some support and relate as a father.

My daughter is home as of today! Thanks for all of the prayers and support shown on this forum. Now the healing can begin and somewhat back to normalcy! I am so blessed to have this second chance.
