My homestate joined the USA in 1791, as the 14th state. Of course that makes it the first state that was not one of the original 13 colonies.
It is also one of the smallest states in area (44th?) and least populated (49th) so I am not shocked it doesn't have a button for me to vote for it. I lived a couple years in New Orleans, then on the awesome Oregon Coast before settling in SW Washington in the shadow of Mt St Helens. Hope to stay. (No matter how you spell it, the mystery state is Vermont) |
I live in Portland Oregon, I don't see "Oregon" in the poll either.......

I am from a lot of places. Five states and three provinces of Canada to be exact. I currently reside in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
OP: I know you don't care but your spelling skills really suck. |

Moving to London, I thought I'd really get into going to EPL games but I haven't. Just too commercial and too modern for me I guess. For me, my football life and memories are always related to the 1980s when I was a kid and, well, it was a coming of age for me. From 1996 to 2004, I rarely missed a Northern Ireland away game - I think I saw them in over 40 countries in that time. This game, at home in Belfast, was one of my favourites and bizarre to think it's now 20 years ago. Atmosphere that night was truly electric: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp9Bt18Rvv4 |
