This is the second Lundgren/Chicago with Howe's stamp that I have been able to acquire. There is one more I know of, I just need to wrestle it away from the current owner.

I stopped taking auction write-ups seriously when this was described as a reversed negative.

uh ok, well I'm sure the auction house got it right this time, can't think of many who would describe a Wagner signature as secretarial signed if there was ANY chance that it was legit.

Also... that postcard was on ebay for awhile and the seller is a big JSA/SGC user, yet that card never found it's way into a JSA/SGC holder.

Many years ago I saw the same card described as Wagner writing to a local kid who was picked up by a LOW level minor Lg. team. It's an odd one to be sure....

yes, just b/c the signature is not Hans himself, does not mean that it's not still a very cool and tough pc.

Grader was VERY generous on this one, as you can tell from the upper left corner being quite soft.

This W573 has the widest side borders I've ever seen, by far, which made me "gotta have it".

This is the closest thing that I have seen to a traditional Negro League HOF'er card (not a postcard, photo, etc.) as it pictures Martin Dihigo in his Hilldale uniform (hard to tell from the scan), where he played from 1929-31. Every other Negro League HOF'er card that I know of pictures the player in his Cuban, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan, etc. League uniform.
