Here is a fun one. Charles Borreani evidently didn't cotton being told what to do, and was also just ornery enough not to sign the damn card at all.

Rather out-dated now, but last time I had them all together for a family photo

216 then, now at 291. It has slowed down quite a bit, which is probably good. But if anyone has any Howe-stamped cards they haven't told me about already, I'd really like to hear from you. Thanks.

By far my favorite T206 project, well done Ed!

Jobu 06-28-2016 03:18 PM

I love it Ed - approximately how many have you added since that image was made?

Howe’s Hunter 06-29-2016 09:50 AM

Bryan, I've added 75 since that scan was done.

There are a total of 30 more that I know exist, and I know the owners of 6 of those. The rest have been "lost" over time as they have traded hands, been part of other deals, etc. The most recent are the four Hindu-backed Southern Leaguers who were part of the Hindu run of Southern Leaguers in the last REA auction. Knew the three different owners of those four at one time, but have now moved them to the "lost" column in my data base.

Howe's known collection would stand at 321. Until some more turn up.
