Picked up my first pre-war (that isn't family-related) in over a year with the addition of this one...I was impressed with the strong image quality...hopefully it proves true when it arrives...

Here's are 1915 Composites of the two Pittsburgh BB Clubs, National & Federal Leagues. Specially note the inclusion of Dazzy Vance on the NL squad as he only pitched one game (2.2 innings) ever for the Pirates and it was his ML debut.

I love that composite...but what's up with Dazzy Vance's photo?
He should have been just 24 years old, and he looks like a grandpa already!!!

Although he pitched for 20 more years, Ol Daz looks like he's ready to retire after those 8 batters he faced in '15.

Here's the first of three Exhibits I picked-up over the last 2 weeks (I have a Paige and Ott on the way). Never owned any before but I really like the photos on them! I'll be on the lookout for one of Jackie Robinson in the future!

June Pick-ups
 

The Feller completed my set. The Schulte is now my 1915 CJ type card. The 1908 Tinker is the year the Cubs were champs.

Hey Mike congrats on completing the 1948 Leaf set. Also that E91A Tinker is a beauty...you don't see too many of those in that shape.

David, That PC and the Cuban snapshot are both great pieces.

Thought this Mel Ott was a great pick-up for $8.00!
