Here are some beauties from the '75 Topps set I'm working on.

This thread is great! Some really awesome stuff posted. Living just outside Cincy and being a Reds fan I have seen just about everything however there were a few that jumped out. That Frank Robinson Swift Meats popout was very interesting to pick out one.
I unfortunately don't have many pics currently but did find this scan just to have an offering... http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps25faa7d1.jpg Would like to add a Ted Kluszewski rookie psa 5-7 if anyone was looking to move one. |

Great cards everyone. I really enjoy seeing everyone's collection. Here are a couple of minor league photos of Tony Perez and Johnny Bench that I picked up over the last 6 months. I'd like to find similar of Rose and Morgan if there are any.

I've always thought the Rose photo on his 64 Kahn's is terrific.

A bit late to the party, but:
http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...psfn44e9q8.jpg There are 21 Reds in the set, and I have 15 here. The only one of any appreciable difficulty that I still need is Bud Podbielan, who died in 1982. I think the Reds will be the first team that I complete in this project. |
I wanted to close out the year showing off a few new Perez items added during 2016 to the collection

Really cool stuff there! Where do you find these things?

Everything came from Ebay. I have not found anything at a show I have needed in years. |

Not a Reds collector, but just picked this up because in 50 plus years of collecting, I never saw it before. Paid a pretty penny for it. Not married to it.
Can you guys give me an idea of value? |
Super pickups Kevin. Glad these items found their way to your collection.

I was able to pick up a large number of 1971 OPC Cincinnati Reds in high grade. I'm not that far from a complete team set. Here are few of them. I still need a Pete Rose and a few others.

Collecting the 1938 and 1939 W-711 series. I believe I picked all of these up under $50. The ones on ebay right now are crazy priced. If anyone has the Bill McKechnie I am definitely interested! I have the big 4: Derringer, Walters, Lombardi and F. McCormick.

Thanks. The Shillitos popped up on ebay one afternoon last week with a Buy It Now and I jumped on it. Yes, I have seen one at Sports Investments and often wondered if I would ever see another one. Phil

Big Red Machine crazy luck we are having here lately, this one surfaced at a local card show this weekend. Dealer was a Bench collector and wasn't aware of this one. He said he would find another one... ;)
Wow this thread is now over 10 years old! |

I was digging thru a box and came across these. I still love the Big Klu booklet, it's a beauty. Sorry these are modern, but since the players are pre-1980 I thought I could get away with it. The quad relic card supposedly is bat chips from each player, as described on the back of the card. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7e8727f48a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...037e0b6e12.jpg
