Posted By: Al C.risafulli
Again, I agree - poor judgement. But since he hasn't posted in this thread since last night, we don't even know if he's SEEN all the subsequent posts calling him out.

As for the profit he made on the card, that doesn't tell me much. Perhaps he expected it would sell for $10K. Who knows what the situation is?

In my mind, when someone does something like this once, it's a mistake. When they make a habit of it, it's something else.

I'm not trying to be Mother Theresa or anything, just suggesting that we all err in judgement from time to time, and perhaps this is one of those cases. I don't recall this particular board member getting wrapped up in any shenanigans in the past, so I think it's fair to cut him a little slack on this one.

-Al

Posted By: Steve F
I'm all for cutting the guy some slack. Of course it's his choice, but I hope he can acknowledge he FU'd a little so we can get past this thread.
Heck, we all mess up once in a while. Just ask our wives.

Posted By: william768
I already have a D304 Cobb in "A" grade.I wanted to get a nonqualifier.I probably overpaid but we all do when we want a certain card/collectible.I just hope the consignor(or a friend) did not put in a bid for this card to jack up the price.I was surprised it went over 2k .

P.S.- I wanted to thank you guys for the heads up on this.I probably would have put in another bid had this thread(The motive is soooo transparent)not been started .So Very sad some sellers have to resort to this.
