Posted By: Jason L
Barry, I am not sure why they are featured so prominently in this thread.

However, I would like to go on record with a couple of statements:
1) I ate at a Taco Bell once. Worst week of my life.
2) I am not a lawyer. I did take the LSATs once while trying to figure out my calling. I had the flu that day, filled in the scan-tron form's last 25 circles without reading the questions, and scored in the 43rd percentile. That dream was over before I could tell my first lie
3) Steve, you are plenty well-educated. Schools are great tools for sharpening your thinking skills if you use them correctly, but they are also usually just great places to hide from the real world until you are ready to do something with your life!
Posted By: Rob Ray
Dan: you probably wouldn't recognize my voice as it is unenhanced...but in the past I've done voice overs for Ford Truck (built Ford Tough...they compressed my voice so it was even lower and more "base-y"),NBC news,Weather Channel,Sci Fi,HBO..I've done quite a few impersonations (NIcholson, both Bushes,Clinton, impersonated Billy Bob as Sling Blade for Comedy Central blah, blah ad infitum) for"fun" promos....and I've acted in countless student films (stand-up comedian, mob tough guy, baseball player when I was younger...etc) as I mentor students in the business. I've cut down the "acting" to almost nothing, and I don't have talent representation anymore or I'd probably be doing more v.o. work...my real job (senior commercial editor) takes up too much time now and keeps me happy. I love television...and at the same time, can't WAIT to retire and move to New Mexico with my wife!
Rob
