Not to mention I don’t think there are many crews that can knock off a bank and casually load a semi George so I think your ok. <img src="http://photos.imageevent.com/piojohn3/smileys/143.gif"><br /><br />I have this mental picture of guy under a mound of plastic screw-downs in a ski mask screaming my back, my freakin back!<br /><br />What I assume that would be neat to know to guys like Scot Reader, Ted and myself included would be the breakdown of these T206’s. 6000 cards are almost 30% of Scot’s original study of 20,000 plus T206 front and back combos. I think that guys like Scot and the rest of us would find that very, very interesting. And the 1300+ 19th century baseball any unknown poses in OJ etc, I’m a sure a guy like Jay Miller would be very interested in that discussion. Posted By: <b>John</b><p>Steve I was measuring a PSA type holder, which is slightly smaller than the standard 1/4, 1/2 and 1" bricks of my youth etc... If you’re really interested and the above wasn’t an attempt at sarcasm.<br /><br /><br />I looked into this whole measurement thing quite sometime ago regarding my T206's being graded. 4 SGC cards equal just about an inch and about 5 for PSA's . Space was big concern as I more than likely couldn’t fit them in the box once graded.....<br />

I'll let the board decide.<br /><br />And while I'm posting I might as well toss my hat in the ring about George. I'm not even going to get into the "does he have them or doesn't he" debate. If he does, as an Old Judge collector I'm damned envious of someone with 1300+ 19th century cards. I am just questioning why someone who apparently assiduously guarded his participation in the hobby all these years all of a sudden decided to out himself. My EPDG is the only one I've seen. So, if you<br /> have 3 EPDG Lindaman's you are defying statistical probability. Speaking about EPDG cards, a year ago we<br /> had a tremendous Thread (by Barry Arnold) that you should search for. You will find it very informative on<br /> such matters as you are asking about. The various surveys in this Thread, as Scot Reader noted in his post<br /> here, also revealed that Ames (Hands/chest), Ewing and possibly Schulte (front view) may not exist with<br /> "350 backs".<br /><br />The above noted six cards are actually easier to find with an EPDG or a HINDU than a Piedmont 350 back.<br /><br />Lundgren (Cubs) is sort of a unique card in the T206 set. Next to the "Big Six", I think he is the 7th in line<br /> of "toughness".<br /><br />If you have any more questions that get down into the "nitty-gritty" of this set, I'll try to answer them. The Piedmont Dahlen is only a PSA-1 and would involve a trip to the bank.<br />Maybe we can deal if you are interested in raw T206? Of course, this conversation should probably be off the board and that would involve revealing my true identity and home address. I'm not very keen on doing that.
