How does a card like this survive?
Posted By: Mike
I can't decide if I'd be upset or not, if the bottom fell out. since I am a collector and a dealer. i will be crucified for saying this, but part of me would be happy, because I could pick up those $5,000 cards for $50 bucks. that would be cool. But for those who's income is derived from sales, I would seriously feel sorry for them. One of my closest friends sells about 300 grand a year in memorabilia. I would not like to see his family harmed. But for me........well, I guess a price drop would be fine. Sorry guys...Last fall I sold one card, paid my taxes, and took my wife to Hawaii. So, I fully understand the other side as well.

How does a card like this survive?
Posted By: warshawlaw
I wish for a big find. Then no one gets hurt.

Speaking of finds, does anyone know of a legitimate T206 find that went from the attic to the slabber with 8-9-10 cards in it? I cannot recall one...

Posted By: cmoking
I don't follow high-grade T206s....so I may be wrong. I seem to recall the last Sotheby's or SCP auction had a large new find of T206s that were graded in the PSA 5 to PSA 8 range. I don't know if they were from an attic though, so it may not fit your question.

Posted By: MVSNYC
many of Harris' PSA T206 cards (7's-9's) were from the famous "southern find"...

plus the last SCP Auction had 100 PSA T206 cards (7's, 8's)...they were part of a find in NYC (if memory serves me correctly)...
