When she found out that Jerry told both George and Kramer that she liked the Dockers commercial, she bolted. It was the beginning of an endless procession of bad relationships for Jerry.<br /><br />edited to add- Jerry's best line to Babu Bhatt- Babu, I don't often do this, but could you take back the shrimp- it's a bit stringy.

I can picture George all over Susan at the coffee shop (I see you are both sitting on the same side, that seems a little odd) but what did he call her? And that recipe...hmmm, all I can picture is Newman smelling his soup and yelling:...mulligatawny!!<br /><br />Elaine has a lot of soup experience, having fed her sick boyfriend yankee bean soup.<br /><br />Seinfeld is on here three times a day in the early evening, and once late which I don't watch. My wife gave up on my TV addiction, so I have free rein (Simpsons and Curb Your Enthusiasm are other favorites).

Posted By: <b>barrysloate</b><p>Yes, but Jon Voight the actor bit Kramer, so they had a fresh set of teethmarks for comparison purposes...I've always been amazed by the writing in the show, which of course was what made it so great. That someone could write a sitcom about teethmarks, and make it funny, is really an art. And nobody does it better than Larry David. I think he is simply the great genius comedy writer of alltime (the Babe Ruth of sitcoms).

In fact, if you remember the old Abbott and Costello show, where they never worked and lived in a rooming house with Stinky, Hillary Brooke, and Mike the Cop, that show was the model Seinfeld used to develop his show. A & C's landlord was Sidney Fields, who they always owed back rent to; when Jerry, George, and Elaine volunteer to help old people, Jerry's client is Sid Fields, another tribute to the show. If you remember the Stinky character he was fat and evil; well, so is Newman. Seinfeld has spoken often about how that show helped influence his with its timeless humor.
