Posted By: Joann
I think so too Barry. There is just ... something ... about it. I can't pin it down.

Joe - you should find a good crop image from it - like Matty's face - and make it your icon/avatar. I think this is such a great image that if you hang on to it for long, you will be kind of "known" for this card. People will associate you and this image. I already do.

J

Posted By: Joe D.
thanks bruce and barry for your kind words.

joann -
what jumps out to me... is that the photographers personality and artistic talent shines through. That is a difference between it and many other team photos.

Everyone is most definitely in an orchestrated position and pose (standing, arms folded, arms by side, etc.) You could see how the top two guys are posed identically and almost a reflection of each other. Everyone there has a serious look on their face (not a smile among them).

I believe Benjamin Falk did a lot of photography for the broadway stars... so he must have had an eye for the theatrical.

Its a piece that combines a beautiful setting, a tremendously-talented photographer, and an incredibly talented team.

Edit to say: Thanks for the suggestion. I think I will pick out a piece for my avatar.
