Keeping it in the Minnesota family <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14><br />Hal- I actually was pulling for the Gators for 3 reasons:<br />1) I found out I won the contest even if Florida won;<br />2) I always cheer for the SEC whenever they play a non-SEC team (except for Kentucky); and,<br />3) Now I can say I was there when the Hogs beat the 2006 National Champs in OT in Fayetteville!<br />Bob

Posted By: <b>Hal Lewis</b><p>The only 6 games that the Gators lost this season were to SEC schools... and all of them were because the crappy SEC refs called ticky-tack fouls on our big men.<br /><br />When I watched the NCAA tournament and noticed that the refs "let the teams play" in the tourney, I knew we had a great chance of success.<br /><br />So I guess the SEC showed what a basketball conference it has become:<br /><br />Gators vs. SEC opponents: 13-6<br /><br />Gators vs. Rest of the Country: 20-0<br /><br /><img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14><br /><br />Gat

With no major league teams anywhere around here, I make the 45 minute drive to the U of A (Arkansas) to watch my beloved Hogs (9th in the nation) battle in the best baseball conference (by far) in the U.S., the SEC. At last count, 9 of the 12 teams in the SEC have been ranked in the top 25 already this year.
