Leon, your W551 Wool's Bread is a beauty - congrats! I see that in your prior collection you have a nice Wool's Bread of Frank Baker in a SGC slab. FYI, if you submit Mr. Sisler to SGC to slab, I think you are going to be disappointed. I say this because a few months ago I submitted my Wool's Bread card of WaJo, which I've had in my colection for 25-30 years, to SGC to grade. SGC gave it an "A" grade, which I'm okay with, but did NOT mention Wool's Bread on the label, which really ticked me off. Upon inquiry, a SGC rep informed me SGC is no longer notating Wool's Bread on the label. Damn!

Found a scarce mid-career image of WWII player Earl Henry (George Brace RPPC), added Rube Waddell to my HOF postcards, and a large lot of 1919-21 Universal Toy & Novelty Co. actor strip cards with several print variations.

I don't usually post my m113/m114 finds in the monthly threads, but this one is pretty cool, and I wasn't even sure that this one existed until I saw the ebay listing, so I'm quite happy picking it up.

Cross posted, but others who don't have an interest in the m113 releases may be interested to see a Federal League item.

#106 in my m113 collection, the 1915 Chicago Whales team, first advertised in the Dec 1915 issue of Baseball Magazine.

Love the E93 Waddell image. My favorite cards of his.

Nice pickup! (I was one of the underbidders in the Heritage auction).

Thanks Charles, I always hate when members compete but it's inevitable I suppose. I'm out of the Waddell market now so the next one is yours.

What a terrific piece! Federal League collectors might enjoy knowing that Max Flack's E120 (and related sets with its image) also show a Chicago Feds/Whales uniform. You can see part of its unique C logo on his chest and he's posing in front of Weeghman Park's scoreboard, as built for Weeghman's own stake in that team.

Shrink my collection to grow the quality and rarity

This is the only known scorecard with Joe Jackson from his last minor league game played, playing for the New Orleans Pelicans

Thanks Ryan for this opportunity to add this to my early era portion of my Joe Jackson Collection

Nice card Jeff. One quick Google search by SGC would have informed them what Greenberg issue this was. Annoying indeed.

A February pick up for me right here off the B/S/T. Many thanks Kris!

Brian

I think it took 5-6 years to complete. I was originally looking for only cards with clean backs but as I got closer to completion, I was happy to pick up something that I needed when I saw it even if there was some writing on the back.

Pretty sure it a reversed perspective because he is using a selfie mode on a phone. It does throw you for a loop though.

Thanks a lot, Eric.
The Greenberg is a 1946-49 W603 Sports Exchange. There are at least two versions of this size and also a miniature version, which I believe is much tougher.
Trying to complete my Greenberg collection, but still not there--especially since I cannot seem to get the Annis Furs!
