Tony, I'm sorry to hear of what your wife and you are going thru. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. I told my wife that I would sell my collection to pay for her medical bills. She told me not to sell it. Because I like my cards too much. She was an amazing women.

One more thing to consider is to keep her immersed in music... which ever type she likes best. My mom suffered from dementia/Alzheimer's for 14 years before she finally passed. She had gotten to the point that she couldn't recall what she had for lunch that day, or what television show she'd just watched.

But she could sing along to most of her favorite songs with perfect melody and reciting all the words! Funny how the brain compartmentalizes and works but whatever the explanation, she always found the music to be comforting and soothing. Just something to consider...
