Two suggestions:
1. Add the ability to search by era or year. 2. Improved "zoom-in" function, including much higher-resolution view and the ability to download the images. |
On the plus side, I love the very quick emails assuring the bidder they have won a lot. I got that email shortly after my first winning lot closed, and then, after a more lengthy battle, when I won my second lot I also received a confirmation email minutes later. And the invoice was promptly generated the next morning.
I find the new webside easy to bid with. |
Won two items and appreciate the quick emails. Site could be a bit more user friendly thats’s for sure.
Stupidly bought a mis-labeled card. Should have did more research before spending my $ so I’ll have to eat that. |

Definitely do not like the “watch” page does not separate what is watched vs what is bid.
Do not like that you cannot tell what you are winning or losing at a glance on the first page. Also do not like that it does not have a running total of what is winning and what is winning with the Buyers premium |
Ken, thanks for fielding suggestions here.
With such large auctions (2000+ lots), is there a way to set the pages to have 200-250 lots per page? with 96 lots per page, the current auction is 34 pages long. Also, as Ryan H mentioned, after bidding on an item, when you hit the back button, instead of landing you at the exact same spot on the previous page, it takes you back up to the top. Thanks, be well, Mike |
Is there a way to see the results from the last auction?
When I go to "Past auction Results" the latest one is one that ended in Oct., where are the results for the one that ended in December? |

And the back button should now go back to where you are, post if it doesn’t As far as results go , once we have past results on our own page all results will post, until then they are not viewable |
Is there any way to put a simple subtotal on the bottom or top of each page so the bidder can know the totals that they have in on their bids. When they have multiple bids it can be tedious to keep having to add it up so they know what they have or not have to bid/spend

Second on roadmap is to ensure complete title is shown thru preview boxes so people do not need to click thru to a lot to see all details As a full team works on this you will see minor adjustments every day , although perhaps a little slow over holiday |

Especially a good sign that you are taking the constructive feedback on this forum and this thread and working on many of them |
Goldin had an auction end this past Saturday, 1/8.
I won two card lots. I am traveling for business next week, and will be away 8-10 days, so I was hoping to have my lots in hand so they are safe & secure. ______________________________ Sunday 1/9: To expedite shipping, I paid my invoice in full via credit card Sunday morning, 2 hrs after it was sent to me. I also sent an email to Goldin w/ a pdf of my paid invoice, requesting if they could do me a favor and ship ASAP, for I had an upcoming business trip. ________________________________________ Monday 1/10: No reply to my email, so I emailed again. _______________________________________ Tuesday 1/11: Still no reply to my email. My lots have not shipped. So I called Goldin. I explained my upcoming trip, my lots, my quick payment, and if he could do me a solid and have lots shipped soon. The young man who took my call seemed a little annoyed by my request, but he did say he would send a note to the shipping dept. ________________________________________ Wed 1/12 - Fri 1/14: No reply to my two emails. My lots have not shipped I fly out next Tuesday (1/18) & doubt the cards will make it beforehand. If I knew Goldin wouldn't ship in a full week despite my requests, I would have just mailed a check via Pony Express & saved on the cc fees. Am I being a whiny b****? Or was my shipping request reasonable? |
I think shipping issues are really hard to say these days due to covid.
For example, REA received my payment on Dec 13th, and sent me an email saying that they would ship the package by Dec 20th. Dec 20th rolls around, and I still don't receive any tracking number, so on Dec 21st, I whine to them on why my item hadn't been shipped, and I received the following response: "Unfortunately we had to close last week due to a COVID case at the office. We returned yesterday and have been shipping overtime and upgrading service levels so you should see your item soon." So obviously, I felt bad about whining like I did. I also received my package from them a couple days later. For Heritage, I sent my payment via Bank ACH on December 19th, and I still haven't gotten a tracking number that my item has been shipped. In the past, Heritage has usually been relatively prompt in shipping my items, so this time may be an outlier. For Goldin, I paid via wire transfer on Jan 11th. My package was shipped overnight on Jan 12th, and I received it on Jan 13th. So Goldin was actually the fastest for me, but I'm sure every case differs. |

I emailed my request & a PDF of my paid invoice to both: support@goldinauctions.com and info@goldinauctions.com I fwd my email thread to ken@goldinauctions.com Thank you. Brian |
The woman who normally handles our shipping is out with Covid. Luckily we only had late payments left to ship so those people can't complain too much, but if she had gone out right at the end of an auction it definitely would have a huge impact on our ship times.
