By the way, I looked up Spline Bat, and Keyman's Collectibles has the following:

The Keyman's site has a habit of providing lots of information in a very concise and clear manner.

I agree. That web site is pretty awesome, especially when I am researching some obscure brand.

I actually collect Sporting Life trade cards the way it is. This one wasn't in great shape, but was pretty excited to grab this one because of the back content.

Wow! They saved the backing because it had the date on it. That has to be a one of a kind.

Christmas gift from my wife to add to my Tris Speaker cabinet. She is always more willing to assist my habit when she thinks something is cool. She doesn't think very many baseball items are cool, though.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d280c8cc6d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c6e8e03bf8.jpg

Found an interesting item during a rough week. My mother passed during the first week of December and my sister and I have taken a few days this week to sort her items, pay the bills for January, and other assorted tasks to settle an estate. Her mother (our grandmother) was a local librarian and county historian and held a treasure of family items dating back almost 350 years. When she passed it went to our mother and filled most of our old bedrooms. Combing through a binder containing items related to family members who served I came across this draft card for my Great-Grandfather James Gwaltney. The interesting thing it is also signed by J.G. Bridges a local doctor, draft board member, and father of Detroit Tigers pitcher Tommy Bridges. I've collecting Bridges items for nearly 20 years and although it absolutely nothing to do with baseball, this mean a lot to my collection. Happy collecting all!
