Worked for me using the iPad - use the app. I know they’re pushing/promoting that as opposed to going in through your browser.

Didn't work on my computer or my phone app. Oh well. Ebay member since 2004. Not long enough I guess.

Picked up an EXMT+ 1965 Topps #134 Mantle WS 3rd game card. With the $25 discount and using $18 of Paypal credit that I had been hanging on it, it only cost me $10. One card closer to my 1965 Topps set complete...only 26 cards left now.

Worked for me, but the total not including taxes or shipping had to be at least $25.

I just got the email for the promotion. It says it is for accounts that have been with eBay for a very long time.

I guess 14 years isn't long enough. :cool:

1998 did the trick for me - seems like something around 1999 or 2000 was the cutoff

My account was created Dec. 1, 2003, and it's not working for me.

Account created 1998. Worked fine for an OBO for a nice Pepper Martin series 3 Wheaties.

My eBay account started in 1998, and the coupon worked for me.

If I go to actually try to buy something and the coupon doesn't work, am I obligated to complete the purchase?

No, add to your cart (not commit to buy) .. go to checkout - enter in promo code - if no dice, just back it out and remove from cart

The coupon Ebay sent me was for items I have only bought from every once in awhile, like clothes and tech gadgets. Not for what I usually purchase, baseball and football cards.

Worked for me TWICE somehow for cards!!?? Struck out the third time.

Received the email today. I have been a member since 1999. Not sure how long you have to be a member to receive the discount.

I posted earlier thanking for the heads up BUT today I got the coupon!! Better late than never so people maybe yours is coming.

My coupon finally came through late yesterday. Obviously I had already used it on Saturday night.

Also, I've been a member since June of 1999...so I guess that enabled me to make the cut for the coupon.

I got this for $2.96!

Coupon is supposed to be good until Sept 10th. I joined ebay in 1999.

Got a cool Wade Boggs/Roger Clemens mis cut card and a K&N Air filter cleaning kit for my pickup. Both cost me $7 and some change after the coupon.

I started on eBay no later than '98 and it hasn't worked for me.

That sucks. I used my wifes account with a join date of Nov 12 1998.

Joined 11/97 and it worked for me.

How do you know you joined in 1997. I know I joined in 1997, but ebay says 1999. Just wondering.

It worked twice for me. For some reason one of my items got canceled from the first use. So I tried it again on another purchase and it worked. My guess is it worked again because of the problem the first time.

I got the email stating some kind of 25 year anniversary way back on August 4th. I registered, but I didn't receive squat. Maybe they plan on sending me a free t shirt or something.

Just got the message from eBay, but no code in it. Registered in 2001, so I'm guessing the code is only for people who have 20+ years with eBay.
