I need more OJs. My one poor copy right now.....probably not trimmed as the opinionator said but miscut instead. https://luckeycards.com/pn172comiskey.jpg |

I really like this large border top sheet margin card of Sid Farrar with the team name from the sheet included. These only occur on 1887 Type B cards.

Okay, where did that Snyder come from??? Not even in the OJ book as a subject, never mind the sharp portrait.

Here are a couple of mine; including my favorite N172, George "Piano Legs" Gore.
I waited a long time to find the perfect one for my Maine collection. Tanner, that should look familiar! ;) |
LOVE the standing bat cards!
|
Damn you photoshop. But Pop Snyder is one of those 'why no card' players...
|
Well....
Its actually someone else’s photoshop creation that I believe was posted on Net54 several years ago on April 1st. Couldn’t resist.
Eric |
Well played.

My only combination so equal my favorites. I have really appreciated the examples shown previously. I was particularily taken with the players from the Mansfields and the Worcesters. Some of the other images shown were exceptional. Just overall a wonderful issue and terrific examples shown.
|
Dennis-Isn’t it fascinating how the cabinet shows more of the original image? Great combo!

You've inspired me. I love having the matching poses of N172 and N173. I have a George Van Haltren matching pair, but I also have a matching studio proof of the Gus Weyhing N172 I posted previously. |

Probably no one put up the pair because Williamson and Hahm is so tough.
