I have four of the five poses for this player. I'm still looking for the last one after 10 years.

I really like this large border top sheet margin card of Sid Farrar with the team name from the sheet included. These only occur on 1887 Type B cards.

Kevin, what if I told you that I have the bat that was used in those photographs? And I have an LOA/COA/TPG document indicating it's the bat and it's authentic! Tell you what, I'll trade it to you for your frigging McPhee card (that we all know you "absconded" from Sasquatch)! By the way, I never saw the death cert on Sasquatch so he could be walking cross country to get his McPhee card back.. :p

My only combination so equal my favorites. I have really appreciated the examples shown previously. I was particularily taken with the players from the Mansfields and the Worcesters. Some of the other images shown were exceptional. Just overall a wonderful issue and terrific examples shown.

Dennis-Isn’t it fascinating how the cabinet shows more of the original image? Great combo!

You've inspired me. I love having the matching poses of N172 and N173. I have a George Van Haltren matching pair, but I also have a matching studio proof of the Gus Weyhing N172 I posted previously.

Fabulous! I love how you can see what appears to be them on carpet, with some grass (or something that appears to be grass) in the middle.

Thank you Jay and other members who commented on the "Pairing" of N172 & N173 Pfeffer. The N173 pose was previously uncataloged at the time I showed it to Bob Lemke (who is greatly missed RIP) and then he included it in the subsequent SCD "Big Book". I can thank Lew Lipset for connecting me with that example way back when he lived in Center Reach NY. And thank you David Bryan for the N172....my first about 30 plus years ago.
And...The Goodwin book is an extraordinary work and much appreciated in my library. If anyone out there does not have a copy....I highly recommend it.
