2 Attachment(s) Was not expecting to find this Type 1 Carl Horner Monte Cross photo - I didn't even know it existed but have been looking for it to pair with my E107 (an image I have always loved - not a new pick up). Thanks to Rhys! |

Great pickups everyone. Love that card Michael, very very clean. Bryan, you have some amazing items, makes me want to wander into other types :p |
|
Mike, Beautiful BL460, I knew you were all over it, enjoy |
|
Thanks guys! I think it went rather cheap due to closing at midnight on the last (travel) day of the Nat'l. Thanks to Jamie for that theory. :) |

1 Attachment(s) I can never resist purchasing this card. Especially when it’s over 800 miles from Richmond and at the bottom of a T210 beater stack waiting to be rescued! I only had a couple more pickups to note but a great 2019 National nonetheless. |

Very very nice Steven, but I have come to expect nothing less! |

4 Attachment(s) A couple of cards from the mailbag. The Brown is the more difficult "Chicago" with the "St. Louis" being more common... |

Thanks, Jerry and Bryan. The T213-2 Chicago Nat would have been Brown's 1916 card. He played for St, Louis Terriers in 1914 and Chicago Whales in 1915, but there is no 1915 T213-2 which shows him with a caption of "Chicago Feds" as far as I know. |

I finally got my E90-1 Young from the National. A big thanks to Cory (Addie Joss) for spotting it and arranging the purchase. I guess I've officially committed to the back run now. The T216 Kotton and E92 Nadja are going to be tough. https://i.imgur.com/uglAkYY.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/txN5Wjx.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ITwE0SU.jpg |

4 Attachment(s) My low-grade pickups from the National included this 1935 Goudey Ruth for $35 and 1941 Play Ball Joe D for $22, both from the Huggins & Scott discount box. The 1938 Greenberg & 41 Ott ($100 each) present a little nicer, yet I love all four the same. :-) |

1 Attachment(s) Some really nice pick ups posted above. Well done everybody. A T213-3 Coupon Matty showed up today. Thanks Mel for a smooth transaction. Hopefully it shows. I've had some trouble loading scans recently. |

 1 Attachment(s) Oh, and a $30 pick up. Couldn't help myself. |

Nice Dean! Love that Matty. And Exhibits might be the best deals in the hobby. |

Congrats Jeff! I know how much you’ve wanted that. Off to the next one now! Quote:

Thanks and yes the hard part is staying focused on the cards I want the most. This is a great site and I am glad everyone is active and shares their pictures of their collections and experience While I wait for my cards I want I keep seeing others on this site that people just got and it gives me ideas for other cards I want. Especially at auctions recently I see Boston Garter Cards, Old Mill among others I like But for now the focus is on getting a 1916 or 1916 Ruth Thanks Jeff |
