Hi Bobby. For those of us who have confirmed private sales over $1000 posted in Card Ladder (showed them proof), can these transactions also be added to VCP? I find the private sale information valuable for seldom seen cards at auction especially Prewar. I subscribe to VCP and really like it.

Our motto is everything we post for the most part except a few huge public sales of a major card picked up in the news is varified with links to the auction.
Honestly private sales would scare the hell out of me and I am sure there are some very honest sellers and buyers out there...but it would make it a lot easier to manipulate prices on cards... I know there are a lot of rare cards that do not sell for years. We are thinking of creating an algorythim to fill in the blanks and maybe in a blue color with a suggestion of the price based off other grades that are more recent...
So until we can figure something out I would be hesitant to add such data for now, |
