Good answers by everyone and I guess they all could apply.

I was thinking of this movie though. To Catch a Thief

Probably could have gone with "Speed" (w/ Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, and Dennis Hopper) as well.
>>Oops, just saw that Hozveti already mentioned that one!

Smoky and the Bandit!!

Was thinking you could put a card of Morganna to replace Rickey. She was the "Kissing Bandit" back in the day!!

Yoda 03-30-2017 01:22 PM

Not a movie, but how about that classic Steely Dan song, "Rickey, Don't Lose that Number," as in total bases stolen.

You guys are good!

Here's one I made up for a "WTB" thread a few months ago (if you look closely, the kid is holding a Mays RC):

Correctomundo JollyElm and h2oya311!

I knew it was too easy. It was probably more difficult for me trying to find a card of Smokey Burgess that didn't have his first name on it ;)

Too easy, I know. Found out recently that this isn't actually the truth. LaSorda is the godfather of Mike's brother, Tommy Piazza. Mike's godfather was his uncle. Still, this lie has perpetuated for years...I just helped perpetuate it with my post.

Here's another one...which movie:

All three of the following cards have appeared either in a Movie or a TV series.

Who can name the visual vehicle for each piece of historic cardboard?

I'm sure there are other cards that have appeared on film...

I'm actually a little unsure about the '74 Seaver. It may have appeared in 'Switchback' starring Dennis Quad, 'The Silence of the Lambs', or a CSI episode...I know I saw it but I guess I was channel surfing too fast to nail the detail.
