It looks like it has some kind of mark or surface indention on the left border, just above the bat. I can't tell if it's on the card or the holder. If it's on the card, I'll say a 2.5 or 3.

It's on the case

Thanks everyone. One last question

Well I've got everything from 2.5-4.5. I still think its def 4-5 so im where I started lol. Correct me if i'm wrong but it seems they grade Carporals less strict then they do Piedmont. Being it's less common? I'm assuming from what I see on ebay but its quite distiguished what they accept for Carporal vs Piedmont. Some Piedmont look like a whole grade higher with the same grade in my opinion.

I still think diamond cut on the Evers - looks to me like the 1975 Topps examples in the shared thread.

I now think the Tinker is trimmed at the top. Hard to tell from scans of the face, but I don't like that cut.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Now I do, bnorth just explained to me what it is but it's not trimmed as much as you all wish it was, it's not. ;)

Why do you think we wish it was. You asked our opinion and we are giving it to you. Personally after looking a bit closer I think the Evers is trimmed the rounding of the corners especially the upper left looks like it was trimmed after the rounding. I could be wrong. Also, you mention u got it from someone who got it from.."his grandfather". I'm always a little leery of that statement unless u know the individualpersonally. Either way sounds like u got a decent deal regardless.

No Chance that Evers gets even a 3.5 after seeing the close up pic. Just a nice looking VG card. Tinker will probably grade higher.

The Evers has a slight notch in the right border. I would say 4 tops. Again...if not trimmed.

It would be cool to see PSA do a larger holder for the trio, with individual flips. If there were enough interest they probably could do it. That would be a kick-ass display. Anybody good at photoshop and bored?

Every card in a screw down holder is trimmed or fake!

Good thoughts here from the Net54 members. Our consensus was voiced. If I have learned anything, it's that the majority of guys here are all well intended and speak honestly. If the average suggested is a 3.5, then it will hit pretty close to that grade unless trimmed. Either way, I'd go for it and get them graded. Can't hurt, right?

No way the Evers gets an SGC 60. SGC 50/PSA 3.5-4 tops...

I wouldn't be shocked to find that the Evers has been cleaned. The dark corners is a tell-tale sign.

The Evers is a 3. Maybe a 3.5 And if you want higher grades, tear some paper off the backs.

Im def am not an expert but I would be
Hesitant to buy these as raw cards which is my new passion.

Any time
I see an angled edge with one corner which is
less rounded than the other 3. I pause and pass
