Here's my 'card locker' from the '70s. Just pulled it out of the attic :). Still filled with a '74 Topps set, sorted by team.

I had that EXACT case. Then I went low-tech and used Nike shoe boxes for the inevitable overflow of cards.

Here was another card locker that was manufactured in 1968. As far as I know there are five different versions.

If that's the hard plastic kind, I'd been seeking one. I recall the first I saw one of those was in the mid 70s but it had some 1968 cards inside so it makes sense that it was from 1968.

Moving on to the Cards in Spokes- I remember doing that in 1973. I think it went out of fashion as skateboards started replacing bikes.

I do some work for a bike shop, a few years ago I rebuilt a bike for a customer who mentioned the card in the spokes as a happy memory.

So I picked up a few old fashioned clothespins, the spring kind (That's what we used, there's other ways too ) And put a card on for her. Plus supplied a handful of cards for when that one wore out or went missing.

Best thing I've ever done with slightly worn 80's commons.
