Randy - remember that nicknames don't count here - which cuts down your list quite a bit.

and I find is difficult to believe that Sidney Ponson is the only Sidney - Sid Hudson & Sid Gordon are just two who's full name is Sidney

A new one as of 4-14-15 - Atlanta Braves rookie Sugar Ray Marimon (named after boxer Sugar Ray Leonard). Also happens to be a second-cousin of Braves pitcher Julio Teheran.

Ugeuth Urtain Urbina is unique in Major League baseball, but not in pro ball. I saw his son, with the same name, with the Seattle Mariners' Pulaski (Appalachian League) farm team last season (2014).

My brush with baseball fame...Carmen Fanzone was the substitute teacher one day at my junior high music class.

Tom,
Thanks. Marimon added (along with a number of Randy's).

I saw Urbina come through last year as well when they played in Burlington.
