Yes, that's correct Pat. On the Scott, the lines are vertical. There are others and all have vertical lines as well. Here is a Davidson below. Board member Mybuddyinc also had a lot of Polar Bears on Ebay that included a Davidson with the same line. This lot contained a Scott with the vertical line as well.

Thanks! Sadly, I didn't. Still only the one of each that I mentioned at the time. :) (Well, no Bergen. Just the other two.) I'll see about getting decent scans of them in a bit.

Edited to add that I'm sure I wasn't remotely the first person to notice it, with so many smart people being so passionate about these for so many years!

Morrie,

Glad to see you have your original 2 and are still checking in on Net54.

Best,

Scot

Thanks, Scot. I'm an introvert, so lurk more or less everywhere I go.

These two came out of the only collection I ever bought, much of which someone had unkindly removed from an album. I'm just happy these backs made it through relatively intact! Now, to see if I've made these images way too big...

For those keeping track, this is also the ultra-rare Bradley "dog-hair on scanner" variation!

Morrie, very cool how much for the dog hair and what kind of dog? :)

That's cool, now up to 3 Bradley's now accounted for along with a handful of Doolans and Bergens anybody find another new player yet?

Well I have at least 66 Polar Bear cards to check tomorrow, including a Doolan and Bergen, so wish me luck!

Interesting that Doolan seems more common, my former example.

Well, if this was a pre-planned April Fool's Joke in advance, now would be the time to spill the beans... :)

Well, if Dan M.,Wonka and Jim R. are all chasing these cards, I'll defer to them and believe that these missing IE Polar Bears are a real thing.

I would like to turn this into an April Fool's joke by reporting that they were manufactured by Patrick Chan, but I'm afraid that Wonka would come to my house and pummel me.

Yes and it would be a pretty drawn out April fools joke since Morrie originally
posted about these in 2004.

I'd like to think I learned my lesson about investing too much time for too little payoff with that whole "first marriage" thing. ;)
