Any 1888 Detroit Old Judge pose I still need (Baldwin, Conway, Getzien, Gilligan, Scheibeck, or White).

CharleyBrown 01-27-2015 05:30 PM

Good question...

1915 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb or 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig #160..

Clarence "Red" Munson Old Mill Cabinet

Don't know if one will ever surface, but I would love to add another Old Mill Cabinet to my collection especially the Clarence "Red" Munson Old Mill Cabinet.

over $1000

I'll end up paying over a thousand for a Cleveland E-107 or Novelty Cutlery. I also have Carolina Bright T-206 and Broadleaf T-206 on the list. Might have to break four figures for one of them also.

Econteachert205 01-27-2015 06:10 PM

I'm hoping to fill in my t205 set under 1k per card but for a nice cobb or joss who knows.

OldEnglishD 01-27-2015 06:27 PM

1934 Goudey Gehrig's - #37 or #61

Fred 01-27-2015 06:34 PM

My OJ want list is loaded with > $1K cards. If not an OJ then a Fatty Arbuckle Zeenut.

One just sold on eBay tonight for a little over 200.

BeanTown 01-27-2015 09:57 PM

How about a Cal Ripken Minor league card when he played for theCharlotte Os. The blue or orange version will work

kmac32 01-27-2015 10:02 PM

T207 Ward Miller

irishdenny 01-27-2015 10:11 PM

E90-1's...

Clarke ~ Pittsburgh,
Gibson ~ Back View,
Eddie Joss ~ Pitching...

& a couple others!

No Creases would put all of'em above 1k.

brianp-beme 01-27-2015 10:47 PM

Why am I posting on this thread?

I can only imagine spending 4 digits on a single card. Three digits have been a fairly rare event. The single and double digit cards are more my style. So...no plans. It is neat to see how other people would spend a wad of cash.

I won it. A fellow member tipped me off with 4 minutes left to go. This win ended an 8 year search for the card and completed my Ganley back run. It's a small run with 7 cards but very tough.

Jeffrompa 01-28-2015 06:10 AM

Maybe a special Oid Judge or a Bobby Lowe Mayo plug in good shape .

ullmandds 01-28-2015 09:29 AM

well it is a beautiful card...one of the best ever!!!! but there are enough of them to go around I'd presume!

h2oya311 01-28-2015 11:15 AM

Want list!

An E107 Bender, E107 Joss, either a Billiken/Nacionales Andy Cooper, or any of the other number of cards on my very tough want list. Most of the remaining cards on my HOF "rookie" want list will be $1k+ cards. Unfortunately, I don't have any money burning holes in my pockets right now, although if a really tough card became available, I'm sure I could make it work. Hint hint for those of you holding out on me!!

Bigb13 01-28-2015 06:17 PM

I need 45 1914 Cracker Jacks so I need more money than that

Wildfireschulte 01-28-2015 06:36 PM

Got to buy a T206 Magie error to get those 80 points from Frank - Got to

dabigyankeeman 01-29-2015 06:19 AM

Gonna be quite a while until I am ready for another card this expensive, but I really want a lessor condition Caramel Ruth card, any one of them, US or American, and any pose.

1952boyntoncollector 01-29-2015 07:14 AM

the next $1000 card I will buy is one where I know someone that will pay me $1300 for it..

jason.1969 01-30-2015 06:34 AM

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth, probably the yellow one. Not just my next $1K card but probably my first, last, and only $1K card.

I've been looking for a T216-2 Wagner for awhile, but I've realized that I'd also like to add a shrapnel T206 to my collection...

As Rob D. pointed out, Frank let this "shrapnel McBride" go for a song over on the BST before I could make an offer. :D:D

Cheers!
Steve
