I never get tired of showing the Selee. I don't know if the Joe McCarthy is unique, but I've never seen another.

Jim, I was fortunate enough to hear a story at the Nation about those two....incredible cards.
Thanks for sharing. |

This combo might be special. There is no slot for it in the PSA registry "master set" or is it noted in the "pop" report. The card was in an "unknown" holder. I had it reholdered last year at the National.

I've shown this before, but it fits the bill. Baker was not known until I told Bob Lemke about mine. |

I call this my Gold Border Team Card (1907 Atlanta Crackers). I don't know if its one-of-a-kind, but its the only one I've ever seen. Not from a T-card set, this one is a postcard. The T210 Smith is NOT one-of-a-kind - just shown for size comparison.

Sweet postcard, Tom! is it postmarked?

For more, visit http://www.sportingoregon.com/ . The postcard shows the T210 Mascot image. It can be found in the Unusual Baseball Postcards gallery on the site. Glad to hear from you if you have postcards to sell or trade.

I haven't seen another one of these...
Jim Thorpe pre-baseball rookie. Issued around 1913-1914: http://photos.imageevent.com/butcher...y%20Thorpe.jpg |
And I need to throw a few boxing cards out there... (Leon, if you want to keep this limited to just baseball subjects feel free to delete)

Definitely a 1 of 1...prototype card game never produced. One copy of each of 112 cards. Handcut but PSA and SGC both grade them at usually 5,6,7,8.

I have never seen any blank back T216's like those auctioned by goodwin this past year before.
If push came to shove...I could destroy one of these millers...rendering the remaining one 1 of a kind!!!! |

Show your T206 Chase that was autographed by your butcher, Jeff. That's one-of-a-kind.

I hope these are one-of-a-kind! :) There is no T214 Gandil in either the PSA or SGC pop reports, and, as I recall, when I won this card in an auction many years ago, it was not yet listed in the Standard Catalog. The T214 WaJo is the only one listed in the combined PSA & SGC pop reports, and I have never seen another. But, oh how I wish the back were complete - if I were ever to have any of my off-condition cards restored, the back of this one would be it.

Several of mine are likely one-of-ones, but only because of the autographs.
Signed T206s are getting a lot of play lately (though truthfully, I never get tired of sharing them); but, I'll try to keep it to signed T201s, like my double-signed double-folder Doyle and Meyers: <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/JCdlbFV4c13KTHQpTmmXa3Y2VLgy2RG_a1rPg51wK6M?feat=e mbedwebsite"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-q_Lx-NqpnDA/RxQJqntTj-I/AAAAAAAAB5I/DzrOKNwfz3k/s800/Doyle-Meyers%2520T201%2520Auto%2520SGC%252040.jpg" height="721" width="800" /></a> And my T201 Leifield, signed by Leifield, and stamped by Jefferson Burdick: <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/1yvqqiPp__O2feeV-Ie7TnY2VLgy2RG_a1rPg51wK6M?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3K6bUVgyY2w/T9fegIeKRYI/AAAAAAAAK_I/TH49mbaEol4/s800/Leifield_AUTO_BURDICK_SGC_JSA_A.jpg" height="730" width="800" /></a> |

Some really awesome stuff here guys! I didn't see a T210 represented, so I thought I better bump this to the top and give my favorite set a little love! This card has a lot wrong with the reverse. Surely one of a kind!

Longest Game
2 Attachment(s)
While it's not a baseball card, it is a 3x6 "card" so I'm including it just for fun!
Back in '81 I attended the end of the "33 Inning Longest Game" on a Providence Journal Press Pass. Just this AM I went up the road to one of the few remaining regular card shows in the RI-MA area & secured the signature of "Walpole Joe" Morgan, who was the Pawsox Mgr at that time. I now consider my pass "Complete" w/ all the major "players" involved in winning that game. For those not familiar, I now have the Team owner (Ben Mondor, deceased), the Mgr (Morgan), winning pitcher (Bobby Ojeda), winning run (Marty Barrett), winning RBI (Dave Koza) & the 2 Hall of Famers who played in that game, Wade Boggs & Cal Ripken Jr. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure this is a unique item & am about 100% certain you won't see another one! It is one of the highlights of all the "stuff" I have! Thought you might enjoy seeing it! |

But They Have '' Vintage'' In Their Name.....
http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/204295...EA_NEW_001.JPG
...not only is this one of a kind - this doesn't even exist , per Beckett ''Vintage'' ........Obviously one of the late-thirties Goudey Premium Issues ; on the back it says '' Lithographed in Canada'' ; you would think all that would at least point them in the right direction in order to look up the fine details for the label. ( It's a V351 ) .......now I have to go through the hassle of re-submitting plus paying yet another $18 ( they kept the original payment of $18 ) and I have to send Bob Lemke along with the card to show them where in the book to look . And as you know he flies only first class..... |
