Deans was not always overpriced, they used to have good prices and free shipping, haven't bought from him in a while though.

I just had a terrible experience online with a dealer, had a card missing from my order and they ignored all of my emails, finally after writing a letter and threatening to do a charge back, I got a response. They lost a customer forever.

For the life of me I can't figure out their current listings--ending tonight--with dozens of SGC and PSA t206s marked "SW" and going for double price. They even have their own numbers for each card. What's up with that? SW?

SW means they hope there is a Sucker Waiting to pay double the price of what the card should normally sell for.

One sucker landed... probably a 3-4x markup on this one:

I'm serious, tho--what does "SW" seem to mean, along with his numbering the cards. Mark-up much more than usual so must feel it means SOMETHING.

If you look in his Item Specifics it looks like it means Sweet Cap

sw

That is a Piedmont not a sweet cap.

SW means "some wrinkles".
