Great card! Congrats! |
Picked up the W512 Cobb on the left just recently; took me two years to recognize that the card has two versions, one with "Ex-Mgr." and one without.

I have to say that the Goudey '33 set continues to move up my list of favorite sets. Not only are they beautiful, but they have such a great checklist.

Assuming 1940 is still pre-war.... after getting Jackson, I only need Joe D to complete the set.

Got my 17th different Dots Miller card from Sterling, more if you count different t206 backs. I'd really only like to get a couple more and one might be asking too much. I want to get a decent Tip Top and a Voskamp and then I'd be happy.

Newest pick up. I have had my eyes peeled for a solid mid grade Matty of this classic pose for quite a while now.

Big thanks to Shoeless Moe for this one! Here's a 1917 Chicago White Sox & New York Giants Scorecard with Ray Schalk on the cover. Also includes small head shots of these dudes:
Eddie Cicotte, Red Faber, Chick Gandil, Eddie Collins, Fred McMullen, Buck Weaver, Swede Risburg, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson, Happy Felsch, John McGraw & Jim Thorpe |

Looking at that Dockman Matty, PSA has only graded 6 higher out of 32. Quite a bit better than "mid grade". Plus it is a particularly nice 5. Cheers, Blair |
