I acquired this beautiful 1910 COUPON Chance....which has great eye. . .Got this AB 460 Crawford in a reasonable trade. A card which I've lost out
appeal. And, an upgrade on the current one in my Super-Print subset . . .on in four Auctions. Of which, the AB 460 Crawfords went for crazy prices. . . http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...psb97b3b82.jpg . . http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...ps71375b60.jpg Acquired this 1888 S.F. Hess (N321) John Smith (San Francisco Pioneers) in a nice deal of which I could not pass up. http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...ps024c5ee4.jpg TED Z __________________________________________________ _____________________________________ LOOKING for these 6 - T206 guys to complete my AMERICAN BEAUTY 460 sub-set (75 cards) AMES (hands over head)....CAMNITZ (hands over head)....DOYLE (portrait)....McGRAW (portrait-cap) McQUILLAN (bat)....TINKER (bat off shoulder) |

Picked this one up as well, just because I love the pose. He looks like a little kid having fun, blissfully unaware of the "boner" that laid waiting in his future....

My brother and I collected these as kids and loved them. Of course have no idea where they are now. I saw these and bought the set. I still like them.

My pre-war pick-ups:

I have no idea why it graded a 5, I couldn't find any wrinkles or surface flaws and three of the four corners are sharp. It looks like a 7 or 8 to me. The '33 Goudey Gehrig is my big buy from the Show, thrilled to own it! http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps80a91cda.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...psedfc073f.jpg |
