The Boston Garter interactive "pop-up book" pages, though technically and artistically impressive, were a little disturbing.

I'm in Massachusetts and received mine today. It is incredible as always. If I move it three or four times today I won't have to work out tonight!

Just got my catalog today. Luckily I have been working out recently so I was able to carry it in from the mailbox. I live in a town adjacent to Watchung, NJ but since the catalog is shipped from Schenectady, I don't get it any sooner. Amazing auction and I am sure the prices realized will also be amazing.

Mine arrived moments ago. Love flipping through the REA. I did get a kick out of the fact the catalog is placed inside a UPS shipping bag prior to being placed inside a USPS flat rate box.

I do not get one you can send me yours and I promise not to complain.

Call REA and they will send you one free of charge, no questions asked.

The anticipation is killing me, hope mine's there when I get home from work!

Thanks Leon I will do just that. I love to look at these catalogs and dream with my eyes wide open.

Still waiting in PA. Can't wait to get it !

Same here, Jim. I spot so many items in the catalog that escaped my eye when first viewing online...I love paging thru the "book".

Nothing yet here in NC. I feel bad for the driver who has to lug that thing up 3 flights to bring me mine.

It cracks me up that every year now we have a 100-200 post thread on who did or didn't get a catalog and if you got one, what day it arrived!

Isn't this type of thing that Twitter and Facebook are all about? (I don't know because I don't Tweet and I don't Face!)

I would still like to know who/how Net54baseball is being tweeted? My wife follows us on Twitter. I didn't even know we had a tweet?

i read thru mine over the past two days, marked down what interested me, and tossed the book in the recycling bin in my house and put the bin near the door so I'd remember to empty the bin into the larger recyling bin outside in the morning.

Well, on the way out the door for school this morning, my 6 yr old saw the book and freaked out that I was going to toss it. He loves to keep the auction catalogs and thumb thru them. It was entertaining watching him lug the catalog up the stairs to put in his bedroom :D

I usually get 2.......nothing on The Big Island yet:(Dave

Get this...

My wife gets upset with me when I receive many of the catalogs in the mail and go to throw them away in a week. She says "These are gorgeous, how can you throw them away!"

We still have a couple recent SCP catalogs because she refused to let me throw it away.

I also kept the Dreier Legendary one that had pictures of the E107 set. That's just fun to look through. If you cut out each page, hole punch the pages, put them in a binder, then have a few long islands, you may actually feel like you own them when flipping through. ;)

Odd that none have popped up on the B/S/T.

For those keeping track, I am now all the way up to Page 20 & reading about the 1916 Ware Babe Ruth card.

It says it is an extremely attractive & outstanding example, bright & clean, bold & crisp, but I don't know if I believe them.

What should I do now?

You (and all board members) should be on page 2 and have a long way to go on it. You can change the number of posts per page by doing this below, it will greatly improve your experience on the board....


Look on the left – it says User CP .. click on it.
The 3rd little box under User CP, in that column says “Settings and Options”
The 4th set of words down says Edit options… click on it,
The 3rd big box is Thread Display options
There is a box that says “Show xx"posts per page” change it to 80 then save

Really, everyone should do those things if they want to turn fewer pages on the board.

Fully agree with the benefit of the 80 posts per page. It's changed my life.:eek:
