Love The Quiet Man, it is my all-time favorite. Twenty plus years ago when we found out we were having a daughter we wanted a good, solid Irish name so we naturally picked Mary Kate for Maureen O'Hara's Mary Kate Danniher!
You have to love Victor McLaglen in the film. He once fought a six round exhibition against Jack Johnson right after Johnson won the heavyweight crown! |
There is a great PC of McLaglen and Johnson just before their bout. Don't have it...maybe some day. Here is my favorite McLaglen card
