The Marquard isn't a 3x5 but it's a great looking sig that I had to have...

Nice job, Matt. I really like the Marquard. I can't believe that Mark gave it up. Congrats!

To those of you who complimented the artist, here's a batch from earlier this year. While I may have my favorites, I can honestly say she's never done one that I didn't like.

Ken,
That painted ball collection looks awesome! Congrats!

Here's a recent pickup:
Johnny Vander Meer signed 1951 Bowman card. This was his last baseball card as a player and it features him in a Cleveland Indians uni.

This isn't a new pick-up it is a rediscovered one. I got this signed in 1975 when he was playing in Tacoma. I went home and put it in a book so I would never lose it. Then I forgot what book I put it in. I found it while helping my Dad clean out his garage. I picked up my old copy of the 1974 Sporting News register and it fluttered to the ground. I was thrilled as I thought it had been sent to Goodwill years ago! I put it in this screw down to prevent losing it again. It's not very valuable except for the memories it dusted off:)

Picked up this three page Hank Greenberg letter with awesome content... thanks Mr. Stinson! (...and sorry about the price )

Here's the text: "Dear Eddie, Pardon me for not answering your letter sooner. I misplaced it and only found it again this morning. I sure was sorry to hear of your unfortunate accident and I hope that on our next trip to Boston, you will be out and ready to take your turn at bat. The Tigers sure are hot this year and with any luck I expect we will win the pennant. At least I am trying as hard as I can to do my share. Mickey Cochrane has made us a swell manager and all the boys are hustling for him. I am closing this letter with best wishes for a speedy recovery and I hope I will get to see you on our return to Boston. Your Pal, Hank"
