what was the 45 days and what was the 15? maybe they got plenty of graders for the cheap $5 stuff but not enough higher-tiered graders for the more expensive postwar/prewar subs.
my order pooped today, got the grade i wanted and a grading voucher...good job psa nice doing business with u! |
the 45 day was 60s-70s stuff.
The 15s are 1 (tall boy issues) 1 ( 1950s stuff) |
I called PSA Customer Service.....
Well, I did what I said I wouldn't do, I called PSA Customer Service. After all, this was day 18 on a 5 day submission. I spoke with Laura and she was very friendly. She told me how backed up they were and the fact that i sent my Cobb card in for a review meant it was going to take even longer due to the fact that the senior graders needed to examine it longer. She asked me if she could call me back after she went and checked on the order. She said it would be about 20 minutes. Well 2 hours later she did call back and said they would try and have the order ready tomorrow (9-11). She also said I would receive a free grading voucher and I even talked her in to throwing in one of those new PSA/DNA briefcase looking things. Laura was nice and said that she was sorry for the long delay and said I had waited long enough for my order and that any excuse she would have given me wouldn't have been good enough. Oh well, we'll see what happens tomorrow:rolleyes:.

It's the total inconsistency coming out of PSA lately.I submitted a 1963 last card in set Johnny Temple last month.Got it back as an 8 which was correct but also got a qualifier of stain (on front).I broke out card carefully, removed stain with silk stocking .Resubmitted that card minus the stain and the results came back yesterday :no stain but now downgraded to a 6.5!!!Are you kiddin' me ?No,I did not damage the corners in breaking the case. It's just mindboggling. Was my grader in a rush? And just how do you get a 10 on any card from PSA these days?I also submitted 4 1974 bb vending cards and they were absolutely perfect.Same grader gave each a 9.

Still Waiting...........
I was told it would be ready today and it would ship today........I guess not:confused:
|
I told PSA off.......sort of.
I've been waiting 5 weeks for a 20 day turnaround. Still, nothing. Customer service sucks.

They seem to be rushing the 45 day specials out.
and slow on the Lesser day subs |
"Bad PSA customer service" in my opinion has been a worn-out cliche or even a self-evident hobby truism for at least the past 13 years.
But I think the biggest problem is that people should do more then just vent on a message board. If every submitter who wasn't satisfied with their service complained to the BBB and their rating dropped to a D or an F then maybe they'd do something. It's my belief that all disgruntled customers have a duty to fill out the following: http://www.la.bbb.org/ComplaintDetai...anyID=13083567 |
Still Waiting
I talked to customer dervice on monday and they said the order would be ready to ship on tuesday. It's thursday and it's still not ready-day 21 on a 5 day submission-unbelieveable!

Props for PSA
So I received in November my first two submissions to PSA that were returned by mail (I previously had some on-site grading done at a National).
I have to say that despite the experiences of others with delays, PSA in this case came in way ahead of the time estimates...even for my cheapie - value under $100 - submission of 60+ vintage cards. On that one, I got the cards back about a month ahead of what I expected! Just thought I should post this in fairness to PSA. Cheers, Blair |
I guess I will be resurrecting this thread.:). Anyway....
Is the PSA "Super Express" turnaround pretty accurate at two days? I see a lot of "Express" going over the quoted time of five days but nothing on the "Super." Thanks in advance. |
I've never submitted to PSA, but I have two cards that need to go to them. I've delayed sending them in for about four months now, because I didn't want to have to wait two months to get them back.
My math is horrible. |
psa loggage is slow but i've read the turnaround is picking up.
super express (2 days?) i would expect to get back in 5-7 business days. mark the package clearly so they know it's an urgent order, expect loggage in 2-3 days and grading to take 3-4 days. my recent regular order (10 days) took 8 business days to log into the system. |
I just checked and its in their system (so it shouldn't be too much longer I guess!?). Status is "OK" and "your order is still being processed."
Thanks for the reply. Quote:

Psa
I handed in my super express submission in person at the Lon Beach show last Thursday. Today my order was logged in. Will let you know when it is complete.

Can you imagine how your eBay feedback would look if you offered two day shipping and it took you 2-3 days to log in the purchase and another 4-7 to process the shipment?
No reason for PSA to change. The poor service doesn't seem to have slowed down their submissions. Rick |
Wayyy late for me too
It has been well over a month now. I sent in one card for them to fix the label because it was wrong due to THEIR mistake.
Still says, "being processed." Thank goodness I am kinda young, maybe they get it back to me before I retire. #1 - They made mistake to begin with #2 - now they make me wait WELL OVER a month, could be soon 2 months for them to fix. Oh, by the way, this happened once with SGC - took less than a week for them to get it back to me. |
This is what it feels like
