Thanks Yes. I also have the vintage Lash's Bitters trade card that is overprinted. I found that on eBay a few years ago.

This is one of a kind as far as I know...I mean how many people really saved a freshman University of Penn. baseball schedule. Never seen another. Neat Phillies item as it pictures Dooin.

I would have thought the operative nomenclature for the flip ID would have been the title of the variation , I.E. ''Val Decker Var.'' and "Metropolitan Clothing Var.'' but evidently it was PSA's "Take Your Daughter To Work" Day and some enthusiastic eight-year-old was allowed to help out.
.......Still , I think I have the only pair.......

Longest Professional Game

1 Attachment(s)
I posted this once before on the Memorabilia Forum, but it is appropriate for this thread & maybe some of you haven't seen it.

I was fortunate enough to attend the ending of Pro baseball's longest game, the 33 inning affair between the Rochester Red Wings & the Pawtucket Red Sox in 1981.

Using a Press Pass from the Providence Journal got me in the press box area w/ hundreds of reporters from around the world covering the game. After the game was over my BILaw took my pass into the locker room & got some sigs from a few of the principals in the PawSox victory & I have since added some other mainstays of the game.

Signatures include Bobby Ojeda (winning pitcher), Dave Koza (winning RBI), Marty Barrett (winning run), team owner Ben Mondor (now deceased) and the only 2 HOFer's to play in that game (Wade Boggs & Cal Ripken).

One of my most favorite pieces of memorabilia & I'm sure one that is unique in the hobby.

Brad Green error card

That Brad Green HAS to be an error card.

756 HRs, and only 826 RBIs? No way! Only 66 people were on base for those 756 HRs. Not buying that.

Has to be an error.

Cheers,
Patrick

Obviously such a feared hitter that he was intentionally walked almost anytime he came up with runners on.

Bruce, that Chickering cab of Hugh Duffy is one of my favorite items I've ever seen posted on 54.

This thread is awesome. I don't have anything too unique, this is the closest thing I have- although I haven't seen a miscut quite like it yet (if anyone has one please post it), I'm sure they are out there somewhere:

Phil, I love your postings, many of which are Supplements I've never seen and are quite interesting! Please don't stop sharing. And when you reduce them enough on the b/s/t I'll eventually own a few :)

Hi Phil-

Your Dihigo card is amazing, I've never seen that card before-thank you for showing that !!!

Also, I've truly loved everything posted in this thread, awesome stuff everyone !!! Please keep the ball rolling, this is a great thread :)

Everyone seems to love the miscut 1/1's. Here's another another:

<a href="http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i52/rman444/prewar/?action=view&amp;current=ryan.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i52/rman444/prewar/ryan.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I prefer the non-miscut 1/1's.

I believe that this is the only Mino Wagner batting pose known:

Hey Clayton
I have so many I could have hogged this whole thread. Here is what I believe is still, arguably, a card from the rarest cataloged set.

That t216 Wagner is off the charts. I don't even care about the back. I mean, the back is a beaut, but what I love about the card is the big-ass borders and a great pose.

it's not one individual card, but as a group, i dont believe this can be replicated. I just added the Williams (thanks Leon, and Bob Freedman for helping me hunt it down)

Still Missing: Klein, Manush, Dickey, Vaughan, and Averill if anyone wants to participate in helping me close the HOF 39 signed set.
