It's between the T3 Speaker, T3 Cobb, and T3 Clarke for me.
Today, I'll vote T3 Speaker. Ask again tomorrow and my answer will probably be different. (images from public auctions - not my cards) http://i44.servimg.com/u/f44/13/04/98/39/lot34a10.jpg http://i44.servimg.com/u/f44/13/04/98/39/item_110.jpghttp://i44.servimg.com/u/f44/13/04/98/39/lf10.jpg |

I think the colors in the R312s are gorgeous. Here's a few (not mine, from previous REA auction)

Goudey Ruth
I like the yellow and red Goudey Ruths a lot.

I don't own it but always thought the E90-1 Sweeney was a nice looking card.

I'd ask who people consider to be the best looking Philadelphia Phillies/As card. eBay is unhelpful. Not many in auction circulation at least at the EBay level.
|
In terms of pure aesthetic qualities
This is one of my favourite / best-looking Phillies cards:

Check out the colors in this one.

Not vintage, but hard to beat '57 Topps Mantle. I'll confess to being biased as it is one of the first cards I recall seeing as a kid and serious Mantle fan.

Great idea for a thread. Thanks for the great images everyone! I'm especially liking the Walter Johnson highlights. There are a couple cards of his here I haven't seen before.
One set not mentioned (I think) was the '34-'36 Diamond Stars. It's got some nice designs: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...ge_raw_frt.jpg |

a few of my faves....
There's been a lot of really nice cards shown so far that are on my list too. I still have many other cards that I find very beautiful. I wouldn't ever to name just one. I like this thread! |
1911 John Tiedemann Obak/Cabinet

Two of my favorites of John Tiedemann. On a side note, while many T4s use the same photos as used in their T212 counterparts, the John Tiedemann T4 Obak Cabinet uses a different image then the one used in his 1911 Obak card.

Just picked this up last night, surely one of the most beautiful Goudeys--and most soulful.
