I like the Churchman too. The same image is used on this Japanese postcard. Someone identified that this was from the opening day 1929.

I recently sent my 1929 Shoew Japanese one to SGC for slabbing.

Anyone want to share more Ruth cards..
I plan perhaps afford a Ruth card before the end of the year...

Nelson,

Sorry - I don't have any to share.

I'm with you, though...adding a Babe Ruth to my collection would be nice.:):):)

Best Regards,

Eric

I also like the Goudey green background. Wish mine were centered a bit better but then again I wouldn't own it if it were.

Man, we are sleeping on the U.S. Caramel. The way he's rocking his cap with a tilt, and the bulldog mug-- I like the Red Sox images very much where he's fresh faced and thin...but this card captures the Ruth that became so wildly popular, at least to me. I find it tougher to locate than the Goudeys also, though the #53 is high up there in my taste.

This is one my favorites. It was affordable and I believe it is the only card that lists the Babe as a pitcher with the Yankees.

Still in a close running with the '48 leaf IMO.

I think you got a deal on that one.

This Babe is totally bogus. I thought so when I acquired it but it is a favorite because it brought me to this board. I asked for confirmation of its bogus-ness and I never left...:)

Since they're the only ones I've owned I have to say they're my favorites. Now just down to the '21 Exhibit. Hopefully there will be others in my future:

Paul,

Those are some great cards, my friend.

Best of luck hunting down the Exhibit.

Sincerely,

Eric

Eric, I think Paul means that the exhibit is all he has left in his collection at this time.....

I was unclear (in my usual manner). The '22 Eastern Exhibit is gone (as well as the Sport Kings). I should have put a penny stamp on it and mailed it to myself! :)
