National pickups

Got a couple of cards for my type set (sorry for the large pics). :o

I purchased this one from Roger Neufeldt...

I was able to add an E94 Cobb to the master set, pick up some tough T210 Series 5s and 6s, grab a beautiful Weaver from the T207 set, get another couple of Mattys and a Cobb and finally top it off with a T213-3 Coupon Kelley.

Gees Bob, nice haul. I'm happier and happier every time I see a T213-3 Kelley that he's 'named' as being with NY.

Regards,

Richard.

I bought these cards from Chris Buckler and his wife as well as from Dave Shraeder of Bagger's Sprotscards. I paid $225.00 for each Cobb, about $30.00 for the common t206, and $80.00 plus trade for the Cy Young.

tbob 08-10-2011 12:41 PM

Thanks Richard I appreciate the comment. Now if I could just find the last 4 C46s I need I would really be a happy guy! (Taylor, Byram, Corcoran and Malarkey)

Been a busy month for me...just getting back into it after a hiatus. I really need to pick a collecting direction otherwise I'll end up with a mess of cards and no strucutre :D. Nevertheless, I'm especially happy with the Speaker...been wanting one of them for a long time. All via the BST.

Bill, all nice cards! Congratulations!
It looks like you should go after the T206 set since you already have 2 cards!

The Maranville and Waner are from the recent SCP auction. 20 more 1933 Goudeys to go!

Very cool item Greg, what is the scale/size?

Brown overprint was a BST pickup, its now in an SGC holder. Unglaub slight miscut on eBay.

Brief T206 sidetrack. I've been wanting a lower grade '16 Chapman for awhile now. I'll upgrade someday to an ad back - but that will be a long time. Anthony - that CB was a STEAL - wow.
