I'm probably alone on this, but here goes......
 

In my opinion, the worst thing that can happen out of all of this is absolutely nothing. Even if the owner of a now-defunct auction house gets indicted, that will fall way short of addressing many of the serious problems that plague this hobby (or industry - depending on your viewpoint). Business as usual is completely unacceptable.
