First Spalding autograph model 1908-1925 era I've added to my collection in 2 years. 45 down and 11 to go. I also picked up a great Pirates knit. It's from 1970-1972. The Pirates were the first team to wear knits in 1970.

1948-49 Mabley and Carew Reds
4 Attachment(s)
Here are a few Mabley and Carew Reds from 1948 and 1949. I've included a folder that the Johnny Vandermeer came in. The other guys are Harry Walker, Kent Peterson and Ken Raffensberger. Each photo has the same stamp you see on a Reds team issued photos. If anybody can tell me more about these photos, I'd appreciate it ...

Thanks Mike and Matt. Mike, 15 was Gene Clines. Some great Pirates collectors gave me a lifetime of information on these jerseys in the last couple of days and I'm much appreciative.
Khkco4bls, I'll email you privately about the Spalding bats. |
