Francis J. "Spec" Shea. Pitcher with the Washington Senators in 1952-1955. 56 wins and 5 saves in 8 MLB seasons. He finished 3rd in the voting for the 1947 Rookie of the Year Award, won by Jackie Robinson. Would have won the AL ROY Award if one had been awarded in each league. He was the winning pitcher in the 1947 All-Star game. Started games 1,5, and 7 for the New York Yankees as they won the 1947 World Series championship. Taught Robert Redford how to pitch in an "old-time style" for the film The Natural.

Again, I can see the picture you posted on my phone but not on my computer. Not sure why that would be. It doesn't seem to happen with posts from anyone else that I am aware of.
