Great rooms! It's a dream of mine to have a man cave of my own one day. I love looking at everyone else's to give me an idea of what I'd like to do with mine once I have one.

Love seeing all the rooms... here's my contribution. A work in progress, but coming together a little bit.

The Catcher on the wall is AWESOME!
|
A lot of awesome stuff! I love the bat-a-ball. It looks like a really comfortable space. Thanks for sharing.
|
Excellent display. Love the pinball machine, and the pine tar is a great touch. How about a pic of what's above the sofa?
|
What an awesome room!

Awesome room! If you don't mind me asking how did you hang your catcher on the wall?
|
I've never seen bunting added around the ceiling line like that. Very cool way to bring it all together. Great room.

Thanks for the comments guys! I had a few more pics to add, but for whatever reason they won't upload.
I hung the catchers gear on wall with just nails. I let the straps of chest protector drape over the nails. I wound the straps of the knee guards around nails too. They fit nice and snug of that way. I screwed a C bracket to the wall, and stuck the mitt right on top. |
Very creative.... love it!
That is a killer Pinch Hitter Machine. Very cool layout.... looks fabulous, functional and fun! |

I found the bat hangers on eBay unfinished. I just painted them black and distressed them with fine sandpaper.
Here are a couple more photos of the other areas. Thanks again for the comments! With four kids, making it fun and functional was one of my goals. It's really cool when they tell their buddies about the different pieces. This thread has been awesome! Gained so many ideas from all the different rooms. |
Jared,
Very well thought out room. Looks extremely cool! |

Your collection is incredible and the displays look really nice! |
Great room Jared!

I just moved into a new home last month and my wife encouraged me to finally go for it and display some of my collection. Much to my surprise, she got the theme I was going for-- a locker room--and insisted I share on Net54 with my "baseball card friends". Still need two more game issued/used hats to round out that piece... One day...

That's quite a nice game used hat collection.

That’s a jaw-dropper. Most of those Forbes artifacts and Pirates Unis are so impossibly tough. Now THAT is a labor of love :D
|
Wow that's an amazing collection. Love all of the stadium seats and other stadium artifacts. Well done!
|
It's like living in your very own museum of coolness!
|
Any chance to get a better (close-up) look at the Blue "Varsity style" Jacket? I bet that Pirate Breast Patch is amazing up close. That Jacket alone is approaching Holy Grail status!

Pirates
That is one AWESOME looking room!

I have always loved that 1970's Pirate logo on that City Of Champions poster. Mike |

This first picture was of Zach Wheat's man cave . I have most everything in this picture . The Chief Meyers and Frisch pictures are both signed . I would like to recreate the pic.

Such cool Wheat stuff...one of my favorite pics of Casey and Wheat...

I'm not sure what you mean about behind the palm tree. It's a plaque from Hall of fame day in Braydenton Florida.

Your collection is beyond cool. How did you manage to acquire so many pieces from the same collection? It will look fantastic once you replicate the display. |

It looks like it is the shape of Manatee County in Fl. Awesome stuff Ken!!!! |

I’d be interested to know this as well. There’s quite a few items in the original photo and it would be very cool to view even if you can get even close to replicating. |
That’s great Kenny. I’m happy when I can find one thing I’ve seen in a book let alone a whole room. Cool stuff and for some reason I thought that chair was full sized😂.
|
Thanks. The rocking chair is like 10 inches tall. Purchased from his grandchildren over several years about 20 years ago .
|
Very nice Wheat collection.

Neat Wheat items Kenny! Not necessarily a room but my television stand gives me stuff to look at during commercials.:D. And luckily for me my 3 year old could care less about any of it right now
|
Nice Michael!
Mike |
Now that’s a sweet looking TV stand!!
|
Great display Michael.
Having two Darktown banks kind of detracts from the overall aesthetics though... you should send the lesser-condition example my way to rectify that dilemma. :D Brent |
