Today's card is a Sociedade Industrial from my type set.
I would like to see some more of these (and even the color tinted Tabacalera la Morena versions) if you have them! https://www.collectorfocus.com/image...ade-industrial |

So this is the last Rodine I have. It is the premium referenced on the bottom of the PC I showed earlier this week. About 8 x 10, same card stock. If anyone is in love with it, I also have a second one available for trade: https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...20Ruth%201.jpg |

Grasshopper Whitney
1 Attachment(s)
Jim Whitney came into MLB in 1881 with the Boston Red Caps and led the NL in wins that rookie season. Two years later, still with Boston now the Beaneaters, he not only led the NL in strikeouts, but posted a 37-21 record and a 2.24 ERA in 514 innings pitched. In the pre-rubber era Whitney came up in, his distinctive way of hopping toward the front of the pitcher's box as he delivered, gained him the nickname "Grasshopper". Sadly, he finished his career with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1890 and then died (of TB) the following year at the age of 33. Grasshopper pitched for the Washington Senators in 1887-1888 and left this baseball card.

Here is a die-cut E121 80 Series card of Grover Alexander pasted many layers thick onto stiff, something over 1/16" paperboard backing.

I have always liked this George Connally Sport Kings card that mysteriously appears complete on front while missing a good portion of the top on the back. Add Jim Thorpe's image, name, and write-up, and you have one humdinger of a funky card.

After that Mantle, I feel required to proceed to the opposite end of the spectrum for something that has very little value, but in my eyes is still cool...a beater T205 of Big Bad Bill Dahlen. Please note that my card is still raw too.

I have nowhere near what you have in terms of PCL cards, but it is amazing the number of great sets that were issued in the 1909-1938 era.
