Bottle of beverage aged from the 40s, it is almost 80 years old, it has never been opened, it has its factory seal, from my collection, very rare to see an unopened bottle, the only one I have seen with that characteristic, I show the bottle and when removing The head is seen in another photo from above, the factory seal and numbering sealing the cork.

Here is the Sandy Amoros. These are likely produced in late 1951 or early 1952 based on the 1951 stats on the back of the premium. Making the Sandy Amoros one his earliest issues.

Leon, that collection of cards with comic drawings of baseball plays is from the 40s, the collection is 100 cards, the board is the baseball field, and according to the cards a game between two teams was developing, I show you the propaganda poster for the series, some cards and the metal mold to print the terrain, everything is very rare, perhaps unique pieces,
|
Always love the ancillary pieces that go with the cards. Thanks again for sharing!

Great photo of Luis Tiant and Tom Richardson with Syd Pollock's Cuban House of David Team. This photo is from 1931, which was deep into the Great Depression. According to what I have read the Cuban House of David squad was the only Cuban team allowed to play in the U.S. that year. Below is a photo of Luis Tiant, from the same year, featured in the "The Lost Son of Havana" documentary.

Rolando, great photo of the young superstar. He shined so brightly in the Cuban and Negro Leagues. And how sad that he had such a tragic end to his life.

Almanaque Deportivo Magazine
3 Attachment(s)
The Almanaque Deportivo magazine was a Cuban sports magazine that in 1947 distributed cards in the pages within a number of issues. The uncut sheet above was one page found within the magazine. I have at one point or another owned a few of the magazines with the card sheets inside. The magazines I owned had a total of 32 cards in four per page, eight per sheet, configuration. Below is an example of one such magazine.
