I just got these along with a few N284s and some other items at an antique shop. Does anyone know who made the 1946 one? Is it a fantasy item (made more recently)? When I searched online I saw one sold in a Heritage auction in 2010.

Alan,
No, the pin is not a fantasy, it is the real deal. Commissioned by a wishful thinking vendor. |
Thank you! I thought it was legitimate, but I wanted to be sure. It almost happened...

Don't know if anyone here is into pins from other sports or subjects, but I have quite a few boxing pins available for sale/trade and am looking for some others, like Marciano. I have the following available:
Boxing Archie Moore: with mini boxing gloves attached Jake La Motta Marcel Cerdan Sugar Ray Robinson Randy Turpin Mike Tyson James Toney v. Roy Jones Jr. Tami Mauriello Jersey Joe Walcott (2 diff, one with ribbon] Ingemar Johansson Bob Montgomery Henry Armstrong Larry Holmes Others --1950s Harlem Globetrotters: nice figure of unidentified ballplayer twirling a ball on his left index finger and carrying a suitcase --I also have several Peter Max designed pins from the movie Paint Your Wagon. --1970s Montreal Canadians logo |

would anyone really walk around with this kind of weight hanging off a PM-10? How about the ones with a 6" bowie knife attached?
