Very nice, Vegas! You might make Bob jealous with that one. Here's mine.

Bob's the champ of the '53s in this thread. I'm still missing over 100 cards from the set and what I do have is all over the place. Bob's been knocking it out of the park day after day, consistently posting amazing cards. |

“Goodnight Sibi Sisti, wherever you are “ wondered the authors of The Great American Baseball Card Flipping, Trading and Bubblegum Book.
The answer turned out to be appearing in the 1984 movie, The Natural. |

Looks like the kid who owned this card 70 years ago kept tabs on ol' Keith...

Scott...that auto has to be somewhat tough considering he passed pretty young in 1987?
Something about clean Yankee vintage cards from that era...good looking card - https://i.ibb.co/85x3Qxw/53-Tom.jpg |

How many other guys have had 2 triples in the same inning

Al...had to cheat, but all I could find was 11, last done in 2006? Not sure if that is still true, old article. That's a hell of a feat! Sounds like Gil was first...
Also looks like Gil was traded to the Browns in 1954 for a season and a half, the kid who owned this card back in the day was all over that! https://i.ibb.co/JCdtLSZ/53-Gil.jpg |

An iconic card in my eyes...as a kid with no access to anything 1953, the Al Rosen card was one of two cards from that year I knew...thanks to his 1953 MVP season, and having this card show up in the 1975 Topps MVP cards...him and Campanella. Going for this set I only recently got this card...and it made me giddy...:)
