Thanks guys. Jay, I don't think I've seen another N172 Browning anywhere since I lucked into and bought mine. I have no doubt that they are terrifically difficult to find.

I always wondered where the 1914 Cracker Jack Cicotte image came from.

Great card Kenny. We redid the scarcity list last year and Browning is now in the scarcest category for all Old Judges. When you combine that with his popularity that makes this one of the premier cards in the set.

Jay, is your revised scarcity list available to the public?

Evidently Ducky was running so fast to catch the ball that this card became OC.

3k innings, 289 complete games, 2.69 era yet never got more then 15% of the HOF vote because of the Blacksox scandal suspicion. Due in train wreck in 23. Now this 206 is left to haunt us.

That's a really interesting card, Gary. What does the back look like? I have a Lindt & Sprungli boxing card from the same era, maybe even the same set. Heres what the back of mine looks like:

Hi Adam, mine is blank-backed. It used to be stuck to a postcard so it’s possible the words came off after I soaked it.

It is not, but if we ever do an update of the book it will surely be included

I don't think there is a better card depicting a pensive player with chin resting on his hand that is on top of a knob of a baseball bat than this T207 of Beals Becker.

Brian (post other cards with these exact specifications if you got them!)

I bought this because I think the scribbles around his head add a little something, and it was cheap.

My kid used to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and there was a kid in his class that looked exactly like this card. Sitting and watching them, I constantly found myself wanting to buy this card, lol.

1933 PX3 Double Header button(s). Actually two buttons, but some kid in the 1930's probably smooshed them together as intended, so in my eyes this qualifies for this thread, and I am sticking to that story.
